They didn't allow it in 2016. And unless another plague hits, Biden actually has to defend his less-than-stellar record.

As for the Lincoln Project buffoons, all they're doing is trading the gas chamber for the electric chair. A MAGA candidate is going to represent the GOP, whether it's Trump or not. Meanwhile, they don't have the balls to back a candidate, because they'll have to watch that candidate get murdered in the primaries.

That's one of the political theories: The Dems want Trump to be the nominee, as they think he's the only one Biden has a chance of beating. And it supposedly allows them to take the focus off Biden's abysmal record: inflation, a looming recession, rising crime, and at least one endless war.

But, as they say in football, if you let a team hang around long enough, they can come back and bite you in the end and beat you.
