I've read as much info as I cared to on this from left and right sources. I'm all for congress looking into it. What would bother me is if Grassley knew since he read the document already, was playing ignorant to build up a lot of inuendo for political reasons. When he was asked about if there was anything to the allegations, he demurred by saying it's really not up to him to decide. That tells me it's likely nothing as I know had there been something there he wouldn't have been able to contain himself

No. Pretty sure the indictment is for crimes. Specifically the ones contained in it.  It's spelled out pretty clearly.  Deflection isn't going to work here.

The situation is clear with “distraction”.  You have reality where a very real indictment sets.  Listing very real specific crimes. 

Then you have LaLa Land claims that these crimes and consequences are a distraction from (fill in the blank) about (fill in the blank) regarding (fill in the blank) with someone.    But yet offer no proof.   

It’s nothing more than just weak whataboutism to downplay and deny the very real evidence of wrong doing for Trumpy.

These are not setup questions.  I have tried to think about innocent explanations for all three, but I don't think there are any.  Typically, the only people setting up multiple shell companies for the sole purpose of receiving large sums of money are doing something bad.
