Around here in the city there’s lots of well educated, high earning hot Indian women.  I think the culture is a little more conservative, less emphasis on looking sexy or whatever - which I don’t really see as a bad thing.  Incredible food too.

I've noticed at work Indians are rude, even managers at very high levels.  They just don't share the American etiquette for social interaction.  That becomes career limiting. 

There are exceptions like the CEO of Microsoft and Google, but they don't seem rude.  They wouldn't survive in their positions if they were.

Two types of indians. Those as you describe and the flip, those who despise india, can't stand the movies, the culture, the religion you name it.

Those guys are usually the coolest, because they really appreciate what a competent culture is.

Yes I work construction (remodeling) too and they are generally the worst clients to have.  Haggle on everything, rude, and insanely picky.  We were doing a Hindu temple and they wanted something Insane like 4’x8’ tiles … we told them “no fucking way”

So they come back with, “Well in India they can do it!” … All I could say was “look pal this ain’t India”.

We ended up figuring something out together and everyone was happy, and they even invited us to the opening ceremony so it wasn’t a bad experience overall but man getting the planning squared away was a headache

This is a legit stereotype that I’ve seen with Indians, they like to argue endlessly about stupid shit.
