At the time I thought you should have won, but I admit that I was new to bodybuilding and was wooed by your abs.  Looking back I think Ronnie had you.  Not to mention Ronnie was off and you nailed it, which goes to show how much of a mutant that man is.

I bet the shape you were in in 2001 could have beaten Ronnie in 2002 though.

This all having been said Jay, don't you realize that you will place second even if you do deserve to win?  It's just the nature of bodybuilding judging.  See, I always thought of you as a good businessman and aware of the politics in the IFBB.  I think the intelligent thing to do would be to win the ASC every year and place second at the Olympia for the biggest total payout.  Of course there might be health concerns with that, but then you are never too far out from contest condition anyway.

I also notice a lot of asskissers are coming out of the woodwork already and I see at least one comment was deleted already.  Just stick around the boards and hopefully people don't bullshit you.  We tell it like it is on here and I really don't want to see people changing their attitude just because you're here.

This is not www.ironage.us or www.musclemayhem.com.  It isn't board policy to kiss your ass just because you are a pro.  If you are insecure or have a frail ego this is not the place to be, as there are many other boards on the web which will give you what you want to hear if that's what you need.  But if you want honest assessments, this is the place to be.

Honest assessment: I always thought of you as "soft but cut" until the 2005 Olympia.  I want to know what you did to get that hard.  Understandably you will not want to go into any details about gear, but any other info you have would be great to hear.

Jay holds out hope that the judges will be reasonable :-\

Man you have some ballz! Why should he give a smart ass like you that tries to act to his level advice or info? What advice could you look for?
Face it folks, your not blessed with genes that make up these bodybuilding gods, they spew all their knowledge in bodybuilding magazines, we all know the intimacies about gear (most of us), get over it- even if you can eat, train, better than Jay, youll never look like him Matt, ever...lol.."DONT YOU REALIZE THAT MATT?" lol.. Does anyone have the pic of Jay in the gym (I think) where his quads are absolutely striated beyond belief? He was doing a one-hand-on-hip most muscular and a closed-fist MM with the other hand. (I think)

I'll bet you could actually feel the striations if you rubbed your hand up and down his thighs :o

Look, I think Cutler won that too, but Ronnie is NOT signaling number two (as that pic claims). He's giving the victory sign.

Isn't the victory sign a bad thing in Australia and New Zealand?

Hahahaha, I'm proud of myself for remembering that. In America, having your middle finger up when all others are down means the same thing. ;D

I agree. Shawn should recognize the principles of Christ. I'm sure he tries, but he could do better.

Welcome to Getbig Jay! by now, you have probably heard about me ;), I am Ronnie's number one supporter on this board :)  But don't worry, I don't bite. You are a welcome addition to getbig.

I hope you will find that all of us "kids" are a fun bunch to chat with.
