Test levels these days are laughable, not sure what happened in  history. Diet, plastics, sitting around, all of the above??

No.

In 2009 a band called "Owl City" released a song called fireflies.  The song was so fucking gay that half the world instantly lost 5% off their bench (most falsely attributed this to just being dehydrated or having an off day), and our DNA was permanently altered, drastically affecting those whose bodies were still developing and maturing.

I hated that song! Thanks for reminding me. Rather get the jab than listen to it

Some supps can be beneficial. Most can be useless. I feel I recover quicker, with my post WO drink, and its dirt cheap (expired sale, shit is fine), so I use it daily.

Creatine
AllMax EAA with Phosphatidic Acid

Does it do wonders? Of course not. But minor recovery, and honestly, a little more EAA (than diet) and Creatine can never hurt.
I bought enough for a year, after that I'll see if I use moving FWD...

I actually stopped using creatine because it gave me more strengh during workouts, wich increased my soreness afterwards due to more work load being done. At least it's my rationale.

On TRT, just do your own hypodermic shot. I hate, hate, hate, hate needles  but it's easy to do. Ive never really gotten used to it but it is so easy to do. Just do it and get it over with. Gels and orals or pellets  all have their own negatives. The needle is more of a mental block than an actual pain.

DHEA is great. I used it all the time before I went on TRT. DHEA is hormonal but not really anabolic but my energy levels, well being, etc... I read a study on DHEA being used in high doses , like 500 mgs a day, to treat depression.

At one point I was taking like 400 mgs a day and had no estrogenic side effects.  I don't use DHEA now but I think I may use 50 mgs and see if it improves my mood. If estrogenic sides concern you you could use the otc AI (thats two words) arimistane like 25 mgs a day. You'll feel fan-fucking-tastic. Guaranteed.

I'm actually looking for somethiing to increase soreness. Not thar soreness by itself is beneficial but it was always there in an extreme degree when I was a kid, and that's when the body changed the most. So I'd like to feel like I felt as a young fella. The soereness was bad and people wouldn't believe me if I said how bad but I didn't really mind it then regardless. William Llewellyn has a supp he's advertised for many years, a fat called arachidonic acid. Never got around to trying it but it's supposed to increase soreness.

My thinking was

1) My test was low. I truly believe it was as a result of serious stress in home life and working the night shift for over 15 years and getting by on 3 to 4 hrs of sleep a day.

2) im going to eventually do it anyway (trt) so I might as well start at 50 while I still have 5 to 10 years to really reap the benefits instead of starting at 60 - 65 and feel/look like shit regardless.

I worked the night shift for many years. Many of those years was the swing shift between day shifts, afternoon shifts and over nights. Yes, I know the stress on the body and mind from this.

The problem is when you start using test the pituitary gland lowers the amount of LH hormone. Take testosterone for years and I wonder if your LH hormone will ever come back to previous levels?  If you don't know, when a healthy man's test goes low it signals the pituitary gland to put out more LH that makes your balls produce testosterone.

Mine was around 300 when I was in my 60's. Saw a urologist that thought instead of test he would give me clomid because it makes the pituitary gland produce a ton of LH. My test went really high. If I remember it was 600 something.  I forget the number but it was drastic. When I went back to the practice I found that doc left the practice so I saw another doc there. He was shocked the doc prescribed clomid for me. He said that's off use and the only use in men he knew of was to increase fertility in men trying to get their wife pregnant. He said even with that it was just a couple of months. Told me about a study where clomid use increased brain cancer in a study of users. Told me to get off it immediately.

Then I thought I would go to an expert in hormones an endocrinologist. He saw me and tested me. Around 320 if my memory serves me. He said he would give me test if I wanted but he said it can thicken blood increasing heart attack risk and increase prostate growth. He said, 320 was normal. He asked me how was my libido and I told him I had no problems. He said, "Look you are muscular with no libido problems. Why do you want it? I agreed with him and he said if you want to improve your test naturally get as lean as you can. Test goes up the leaner you get he told me.
