College isn't even needed in this day and age according to people like Elon Musk.  Not only that, most of these schools now have virtual learning so someone in Kansas can go to school in Nevada without leaving.   

Honestly, most people should go to trade schools for jobs like being a plumber or electrican.   They are good paying jobs and you're not spending years paying back the loan

Trades are very respectable and important professions and you can make good money in many of them but we've disincentivized them by setting up a society where you're a failure/dummy if you don't go to college.

I agree. Colleges offer too many bunk majors with no ROI. The banks are in on the action with loan forgiveness. The government has further incentivized colleges to continue to offer these worthless degrees and keep the diploma industry afloat.
