So in other words more than half says he did get 81M votes.

Good thing the courts, the state officials, the Supreme Court, the prior and present AG, the VP, the EC, and majority of voters all fall in that category.

I think he got his 81 millions votes, but context matters.  He ran up numbers in California and New York, just like Hillary did in 2016.  It's sort of a meaningless number when you consider that context, because Trump didn't even campaign in those states.

Talk about pointless polls. Who cares what half of those folks who were polled think.  Anyone can 'think' whatever they want about pretty much anything, and it is meaningless because one's thoughts are proof of nothing other than that these folks are still alive and can think whatever they chose to.

Polls are all about folks sharing their opinion at the time they are polled. Poll them in a month and at least some of their opinions will have changed.

Why are people still getting polled about 'old news'? The election has been over since November 2020. Biden's vote count put him in office in January 2021. It is now a year and a half later. Further time-wasting vote tallying is not going to happen. Biden will continue as President through the November 2024 election and if he loses, until January 2025.

If you go by some polls, it pretty much looks like Trump's "goose is cooked." Lucky for Trump, they are not the jury at his trails which will ultimately determine whether he's found guilty and if he is, they are not the judge who will sentence him.

Here are some examples:

Per Ipsos/ABC News, 48 percent of adults believed he should have been charged, and 35 percent believed he should not have been.

Coach, stop living in the past… it will get you nowhere. Live in the now and hope for the future. It is much more productive.

Per Data for Progress, 50 percent of likely voters thought the charges were appropriate to hold Trump accountable, and 45 percent thought they were politically driven to attack him.

Per Ipsos/Reuters, 48 percent of adults believed Trump is being treated fairly relative to President Biden’s and former Vice President Mike Pence’s own possession of classified documents, and 34 percent believed he was being treated unfairly.

"Per Civiqs/Daily Kos, 50 percent of registered voters believed Trump is guilty of crimes that merit jail time, and 42 percent believed he is not."

A Yahoo-YouGov poll conducted in late May found that a majority of Americans believe that the crimes Trump has been accused of across multiple indictments are "serious."

Fifty-two percent called "falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments to a porn star," the allegation at the center of his Manhattan indictment, a serious crime. (Democrats and Republicans were deeply divided on this, while 49% of independents said it was a serious crime and 37% said it wasn't serious.)

Meanwhile, 63% of Americans, called "taking highly classified documents from the White House and obstructing efforts to retrieve them" a serious crime.

Significant majorities of Democrats (82%) and independents (62%) felt that way, as well as 66% of registered voters overall. But Republicans were more split on this question than others, with a plurality of 42% calling the crime serious and 35% saying it's not serious.
