Single mom regularly works out at my gym. Her son, possibly, say, eight, sits beside wherever she is, and he stares into his cell phone or game thing. When I was that age, it would have been inconceivable for my mom or dad to have taken me to such a marvellous FUN HOUSE as a gym and me NOT to have been climbing, lifting and mucking about with every piece of equipment and implement. Not sitting on the floor, lost in some bloody video game or whatever. Pathetic. The raised-by-a-mom deal ain’t helping, obviously, but, what’s with modern boys?How can male children develop into robust MEN when they’re being so, so NOT little boys?
