Ok? And? Stop acting like Harlem isn’t a 12 min walk from yorkville, In a city where everyone walks

Like most liberals you  talk a good civil rights game but at the end of the day you moved to the whitest part of the city.

You could’ve gotten an apartment in 12 minutes away Harlem for much less but you didn’t.

You got exposed. Just take the L.

Once people have to go back to paying on their loans, they will have a shitload of interest and will have to pay even more.   They paused it due to COV-19 job losses but not the fees.

So for over three years these deadbeats did not make a student loan payment.

Did they invest the money they weren’t paying, or did they spend it on bullshit?

If they were smart (that excludes you) the money they didn’t have to send for loan payments would be sitting in an account ready to go once the loans resumed.

Welcome to wealthy White people’s ways of the world.

You agree to the terms of a debt, you own it. It’s yours. Pay it.

Responsibility. Accountability. Honour.

P.S. It took Fortress 12 years to wipe out his college debt. No excuses. No whining. Just, Here’s your money. Thank you for lending me the dough.

Myra Brown got a $50K PPP loan forgiven and Alexander Taylor's family literally made too much for him to qualify for a Pell Grant. This is who Boomers on G&O are cheering for today.

When are the Democrats forgiving mortgage loans, car loans and credit card loans?  Just asking for a friend. Truth be told despite the Democrat lies, Biden never had the power through executive order to forgive student loans. If congress passes a bill to forgive student loans it will be the the plumber and all the other non college people paying for it. I hope Biden forgives the Plumber's truck loan because he has four more years to pay it off.

Have you been paying attention?  https://www.npr.org/2023/01/09/1145040599/ppp-loan-forgiveness

Most PPP loans (92% of them!) have been granted full or partial forgiveness.

And if you want to debtmaxx and then make your credit card loans go away, there's a pretty easy legal mechanism for that -- but it doesn't exist for predatory college debt.

Why is that good news?  College lending is predatory and the colleges and lenders themselves are corrupt fagggots.
Take it out on the college administrators. That, and don't take out loans for worthless degrees.

Pay your own bills, crybaby losers.

The government doesn't pay its debt.

91% of PPP loans -- some of them in the millions of dollars and obviously fraudulent -- have recently been forgiven.

There have never been more gibs and government benefits being passed around.

...But god forbid some young white kids get relief from predatory and undischargable college loans.  Then all you boomers are "durrr pay denbts."

You're against socialism but want to socialize college debt because socialism is unjustly implemented elsewhere?

Yes, social security should be canned and people can just call their grandchildren directly to demand money.

I'm saying that US "conservatives" are completely hypocritical.  Loan forgiveness on a vast scale for corporations: *Crickets*.  Truckloads of free money and expensive programs for "inner city youths": Not a peep.  Loan forgiveness for young white kids:  "Nooooo PAY DEBTS!!!!!"

The problem with this kind of populist behavior is the mentality that threatens the US dollar's status as the world's reserve currency. The US constantly exports its massive deficits to the world, and the global economy, in general, isn't in good shape at all. Russia, China, Iran, and even zee Germans  are trying to reduce their reliance on the US dollar.
One can understand their concerns, as the US is spending extravagantly, and this handout is a good example of that. The loss of reserve status would cause more damage than an atomic bomb to New York.
I'm starting to think that some people are disillusioned with the USA and believe it's making poor decisions. The USA's aggressive policies towards Russia and China indicate that it wouldn't let go without a fight. This wouldn't bode well for the world. I can imagine the real reason for a global world war would be fueled by the USA's grip on power versus cooperation among authoritarian regimes.
Corrupt politicians are implementing policies to the degree  that an enemy wouldnt succeed in weaking the usa.
handouts, a shift towards inclusivity from excellent meritocracy that brought once brilliant Arnold came running to usa, and promoting LGBTQ+ rights over sane family values, tribalism over citizenship.
I hope usa shapes up, as the new world order wont be pretty.

Can we apply (the non-losers) to get our money back that we paid (if I say Im a tranny libturd)??
I had 2 kids in at once over a 6-yr period (couple year overlap) and paid in full with no loans (proper planning from their births), Fidelity 529 accts.
Also put my yearly 20K bonus into their college funds, never spent a dime of it on ourselves.

Do responsible folks lose out under libturd law? The kids got out and got good jobs, and are normal hard-workers, so glad to help.
If it were now though, I would maybe re-think things. Things werent full-on retard then, like it is today...

Libturdz promote "loserism" and getting  handouts.

Pay your college loan back you slacker.  PPP loans shouldn't even be called loans. They are hand outs knowing some fools will pay them back.

Yes, if you don't make monthly payments on credit cards you can get an arrangement to pay a partial payment and the credit card company will write off the rest. Try to apply to get a get credit card after using that option. You will be able to get a card but with severe restrictions on the amount of credit they will give you. Also trying to get mortgage after that will be a challenge.

One thing I agree with is that student loans should be illegal. Letting a 18 year old kid get a sick amount of money for school then telling them they have no option for bankruptcy is predatory.  Have you seen they won't give out the loans if the parents won't cosign if they have a normal job? Look at the wording of the new student loans.  Outlaw student loans and watch in two short years college tuition dive down to affordable levels. These colleges charging 40k Plus a year would be empty without the loans. Colleges are awash in money because of student loans paying the massive salaries of people that don't deserve it and for the beautiful buildings.

America is already a de facto socialist state.  It's just that certain matters are politicized and certain other matters aren't discussed, despite being isomorphic to each other.

The Tea Party was as opposed to the '08 bailouts as Occupy was, as I recall, and I heard lots of guys call the SVB bailout socialism. I couldn't point to anyone I'd call conservative who wants free money for black city kids, unless you count funding prisons for petty drug crimes.

I agree the small government conservative is an endangered species. They seem to be getting outcompeted by neocon running dogs, or whatever you call people who exchange liberty for security. Patriot Act, NDAA, Data & Restrict "tiktok" Acts, etc. I kinda think the tranny phenomenon is real but the panic is an op to get the righties to beg for yet more unlimited security state "because the children." Some guys would just about agree to a microchip in the head.

So yeah, the stuff you mentioned shouldn't have happened and taxpayers shouldn't have been on the hook, and they shouldn't be on the hook for people's student loans either. It's the loans that bloated up the fees. At some point the cycle has to be interrupted. When they start putting their hand in other people's pockets seems like the place to draw the line. I absolutely feel the same about corporate bailouts and it's infuriating to watch a government rob people and hand it over to rich assholes. I wonder to what degree college loans are securitized and gambled on, and if so to what extent Biden's proposal was to stop a bubble popping, but I'm only speculating.

I'm sorry if you're having a hard time with a loan but it's not my debt and I didn't get the benefit of what it paid for. If we were in a restaurant I wouldn't pay for your meal or Rockefeller's.

If you lose your job, you DON'T HAVE MONEY SITTING IN THE ACCOUNT!!.  Not everyone got their job back and many had to get a job that paid less.   I lost my job at Verizon because of COV-19 when the company decided to keep everything at-home (so they can fire all of customer service under the table which they did on June 23rd).

Thats the whole point...not to mention that a number of major businesses were given PPP loans that were forgiven under COV-19.  Nobody is getting a handout and because it was struck down, the government gets a 100 billion windfall out of it

Our tax money pays for useless diploma mills. Banks are in on the action. Kids should be learning useful trades to be electricians, plumbers, welders etc. If they want to spend 40k / year on an education then it should be to go into engineering, pharmacy, business, etc. Not 40k / year to learn gender identity and art history and then whine when they can't pay back their loans.
