Another unnecessary apostrophe.

We need to correct this soon or else draw the ire of Fortress, so a quick lesson, drawing on the more common ones.

Correct usage:

1.  Possessive nouns.  Example:  That chained woman in the basement is likely pamith's.  pamith has ownership in this example.

2.  To show the omission of letters.  Example:  pamith's a fucking retard.  The apostrophe replaces the "i" in the implied "is".

3. It is NOT used to show the plural form of nouns, UNLESS it is the plural of numbers or symbols.   Example:  pamith has posted 14 times today, and made 14 retarded posts. No apostrophe in the plural of "posts".  However, for numbers it changes:  Example: If you ever have to fight pamith, ask him to add together a couple 2's, and he'll be distracted for hours.  The apostrophe does belong in "2's" since it's the plural form of a number.

Those are the basics.  But with your history - "when in doubt, leave it out".

Happy 4th.

Pamith's a full-blown natty taking 1-AD... Benches 500, takes cockroach protein.
I won't fight him based on all that craziness...

Thanks for posting this humorous link. Funny how we like to laugh at other folks foibles while hoping we don't get videoed doing equally dumb stuff while working out at the gym.
