US polls, an average of all the various favorability polls. Polls can be inaccurate, but not that inaccurate. Obama still fairly broadly popular (a bit more than half). Trump just with his base (40 to 45 ish). That is partially why Biden a bit more likely than Trump in 2024 (although close).

All it takes is being at 51% (taking into account that it has to come together in the right states), 48 or 49 percent does not do it. There are plenty of people on the fence in that last 5%.
