HYDE PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Five Los Angeles police officers were rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon after being exposed to methamphetamine while responding to a call in the Hyde Park area, authorities said.

The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance incident near Southwest Drive and 4th Avenue when an officer came across the drug.

Four officers were taken to Cedars-Sinai and the other was taken to another hospital.

They were all reportedly in "moderate distress" and are expected to be ok.

It's unclear if anyone was taken into custody or arrested. Eyewitness News is working to get more information.

Are you involved with cops a lot? How's your driving record? I've been pulled over once in 30 years and I don't do the speed limit. I just wonder about guys that put down cops how they are involved with law enforcement? I really have no contact with cops except for calling them for accidents I see on the road.

I just watch the real interaction vids. The stuff on MSM, they only show "good cops". (Shows like Cops, etc).
Most of the ones filmed by the public, show dumb, uneducated, bully, tyrants... Its quite brutal...
As said, tons of good ones and I respect and support those ones.

But it would need to be proven first. Im not just going to respect "all cops" across the board.
Look at the ones who enforced RONA policy, pure scum. (Australia, etc)...

There are daily stories of Police brutality, attacking victims in cuffs, etc. 5 Cops just broke an old guys neck, now paraplegic.

once upon a time I used to believe in the "some are good cops" argument.

Got disabused of that nonsense quick when I worked adjacent to the system and had a high level Psych doc for  the force explain to me that there are no good cops because good people don't become cops and those who do quit immediately.
