my only interaction was with a traffic cop who ctopped me after I made a right tirn at a no right turn road to turn immediatly left onto an A road
There wasnt a single car on the road, he was hiding in an alley way
He pulled me over and asked me to get in his car
I got in and he was already writing me a ticket, he said, "you know why Im writing this?"
I had a million answers in my head and coiuld have escalated the situation if I wanted to.
I asked him how much was the ticket and he said £60
I said "Is that all"
Took the ticket and went on my way

I have only spoken to a police officer once in the last 35 years ( not including interactions at work)

Anyone with a brain should be nervous around police, they are armed agents of the state with the power to ruin or even end your life in a split second

Useless goons. 99% of their time is spent enforcing inconsequential tratfic infringements like it's the most serious business ever. 0.5% consists of arriving 45 minutes after shit's over. 0.5% retreating to a safe distance to observe rioters or school shooters do whatever the fuck they want because it's too dangerous up close.

I'm sure they're 'nice guys' but when push comes to shove they will be paycheck over principle. If a guy didn't quit after BLM and covid fiascos, that says a lot.
