With all due respect. It's not Biden. It's the bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Passed by a bipartisan vote in Congress. The sponsor was Marco Rubio Republican from Florida. Fox is misleading you. Remember what I was saying in the other thread about checking the validity before posting?

You might want to go back do a search of my posts where where I specifically said the RINO GOP establishment isn’t any better than than than the Marxists in Congress and said they needed to go. When Republicans won't vote for the massive spending bill Democrats grand stand that Republicans are against law enforcement when they are really against the 95% of the other features of the bill. She took it and closed the window... opened it back up a said "It's $2.13" I said "yeah?". She said "you gave me a dime... holding up my quarter... I was a bit puzzled. I said "That's a quarter".. She looked at it again and said "Oh"... and shut the window again... I'm really not sure what happened... she was about 18 and so I assume, working a register at a national chain, she has seen a quarter and a dime before... I should have asked a couple questions but I was a bit stunned. But thinking on it now, I'll bet she could hit an apple off my head with a compound bow at 30 yards

I hate when I pay for something, say it’s $12.22 and I go ahead and given them $22.25 so I can get a ten back and not a bunch of ones, and they look at me weird and just hand the $2.25 back and change out the $20. I’m sitting there thinking, you moron.

Very common... I know it is a lot more complicated than what I'm about to propose, but schools might need to rethink the extracurricular things that really don't fall into the "lifes skills" category and focus on making sure a graduate can count back change out of a $20 without a register or calculator, create a budget, understand basic concepts on credit and credit card interest. Maybe even changing a tire, some critical thinking skills,

absolutely! good input Deadz. Sometimes an example is helpful. It was about $32K a year back in 93 for a 1 yr officer.  The six month academy paid $11 something an hour as a cadet.  I felt like I had hit the lottery. I was making $1432 base pay a month as an E5 in the military in 1992.  after 10 years military and 24 yrs civilian I was fortunate enough to retire at 53. I think critical thinking helped
