I'm usually in the pro-steroid camp. Actually I'm more in the do what you want camp. If you want to do steroids at 60, do it, if you don't like it just stop. Simple. I'm going to mention a potentially negative effect that my now 60 year old friend has repeatedly mentioned to me. He's now on a short break and mentions how he sleeps amazingly well now, how he feels mentally stable, how he's not on edge all the time. It's not like he's a maniac on steroids but steroids, basically stimulate the nervous system. This stimulation can be good if you are feeling low, depressed and generally with low drive. Increased sex drive from steroids can somtimes be a curse as well and some would rather not deal with the "stress" from that, they just want non-drama life without sexual frustration. Two things: my friend does a little more than TRT dose AND he says no way will he be off for long, there are still so many positives. It can be a great feeling being 60 and being twice as strong as a healthy 20 year old (last year he deadlifted 660lbs off the floor). What I'm saying is that there might be some drawbacks, even if it's not anything dangerous per se.
This fella "won his pro card" at 79! He's going to die young!
