It appears so, though I haven't researched it entirely. They also dropped the total number of firearms you can own from 30 to 6 though there is no penalty for having them if you bought them prior to the new law. And there is a by back program either existing or on the way. I am just as confused as to why the 9mm specifically.

I'm pretty good with a weapon, but I found I can't handle more than 3 at a time during a home invasion. In fact, I'm thinking about selling a couple. But the ones I would sell have sentimental value. The 9mm Beretta Centurian Night sights took me from 1993 to 2011 when the Department went to a standardized pistol they issued which was a M&P 40. I switched kicking and screaming, because I had the Beretta in the Military and 18 years at APD. But the M&P was a good pistol and had a cool APD badge logo. The one I would keep is more in line with Concealed carry. A Beretta Cougar 8040.

Cut my teeth on it Coach.. from May 19 1982 when I joined the Military to June 15th 2016 when I retired.While I am very well versed on the 2nd Amendment to the point it would be over your head, 200+ years later, I would be ok with ANOTHER amendment that addressed assault rifles.. But I have also stated that I realize the horses are out of the barn and anything we do now would be impotent
