I’d like to know a proper set up too. I used to get an “eye opener” at my local coffee place which was 20oz of light roast and two shots of espresso. Shit won’t even get me lifted. They have a “black widow” which is 4-6 shots depending on how your order.

Perhaps you've built up a tolerance?   I know I have.  ;D

Opposite bro. I think caffeine is sacrificed in roasting but the flavor is stronger in dark roasts so you get the impression it's a strong cup of joe.

What caffeine there is in the dark roasted beans will be more readily extracted along with flavors and it's easy to overextract with too high a water temp or excessive duration.

Light beans typically need a higher water temperature and more time. All grinds being equal (which would never happen), I guess if you treated a blonde like darkie and rushed the encounter you might paradoxically get less caffeine from the more potent bean since she won't give it up lickety split.

Actually ur right

The instructions on a bag of Starbucks ground say to use 2 tbls for each cup which is 6oz water.

Most brands call for 1 tbls per 6oz cup.

Coffee is garbage and should not be consumed by humans. Whatever the mainstream considers healthy it's usually just the opposite.

I would enjoy trying your coffee, I make it strong at home, like 5 tsps of ground beans if brewing in a pan or 4tsps instant.

Ro, maybe you should try chifir for fun ( a Gulag/prison strong type of tea )

It is considered a strong stimulant.

-Fill a full mug with hot water.
-Drop 2-2,5 matchboxes of quality small leaf black tea into the mug
-No stirring
-Cover the mug with a saucer or a small plate.
-Let it brew for 8-10 min. (The leaves must settle to the bottom.)
-Take a second mug and gently start pouring the content from mug to another.Repeat the process several times.
-Filter the leaves through a strainer
-Drink SLOWLY
-Don't add any sugar or eat sweets.
-Make sure you drink the beverage on an empty stomach.

I have read people like this, but I use l-theanine for sleep.

My guess is you have to pick one or the other and not have it constantly in your system?

I wake up at 1am for my 1/2 pot of coffee in the summer and full pot in winter.
