Lee seems like a good southern gentleman. Once he retired, he put the crazy pro bbing lifestyle behind him and still looks good today.

Nick isn't pretty but I just commented on this "before" picture elsewhere. The genetics were hidden. He looked absolutely horrible with shit genetics for anything related to bb. It is an amazing and imo unlikely transformation. I mean it's hard to believe.

Regarding Haney, he had a magical physique. I can't even explain what I mean exactly lol, but he left quite an impression on my mind when I started reading bb mags when I was less than 10 years old and Lee was on top.

Yes, 100% agreed.  Turned pro in 1982 and just two years later started a dominant 8 year reign as Mr O.  Retired at his peak, too, and never looked back.  His post-bodybuilding lifestyle just clinches it.

Does anyone have more insight as to why he didn’t win the 1983 Mr O?  Looking at this photo, it seemed like Bannout had better arms and better conditioning overall
