I think you are right.

None have made it to BUDS as far as I know. The closest was a female officer who completed a tough 2 week pre selection, but it's thought because she didn't list SEALS as her 1st choice of assignment she was not selected. The selection committee is said to be unaware of the gender of the applicant and so that didn't play a part, but the fact SEALS wasn't top priority likely did. Who knows?

The Army lowered the standards so women can become Rangers. I wouldn't doubt under Democrats they would demand a female Seal.

An officer did finish the 2 week course as a pre qualification to SEAL training. But she was not accepted into the training. The official reason was that she didn't have seals as her 1st choice of assignment so was passed over. The board deciding is supposed to have no idea the gender of the applicant.

I'd say the odds are against her, but I would also say you couldn't have made it as far as she did. Full disclosure, I wouldn't have either... Cool, I'm 61 and wouldn't make it. At 21 in all reality, I wouldn't make it. I'd like to think I would, but I don't think I would have lasted a couple weeks. Sleep deprivation is brutal, I learned that the hard way and throw me in cold water along with no sleep, I'm ringing that bell pretty quick.
