I used to read flex magazine when I was younger I don't anymore. However I suspect it is the same kind of thing people want to know what the bigger guys are doing as far as training and diet. Sam is winning because he is not a fake add with a fake workout and fake supplements in a magazine with a fake article written by someone else with his pick. That is why people prefer his videos to a magazine adds. It is just him showing his actual workout and eating and then explaining why he does it in simple basic terms. He isn't trying to sell anyone anything. He doesn't have some production crew he isn't using fake weights and doing stuff for the cameras it is his actual workouts.
