Soulaire Circulation (derived from EECP), is an FDA- cleared, non-invasive therapy that works as you lie on a comfortable bed. Three large blood pressure-like cuffs wrap around your calves, thighs and buttocks. You’re connected to a 3-lead EKG monitor.

Working with the rhythm of your heart, the cuffs sequentially inflate when your heart is at rest (diastole). When your heart pumps (systole), the cuffs deflate. These cuffs squeeze the blood from your lower extremities to your heart (creating the mechanism of a second heart) while decreasing your blood pressure and heart rate (workload of the heart).

Interesting approach. What is the cost of it?

I haven't looked but I bet there's little to no data on this method being beneficial and effective. But you can definitely tell each "session" will be expensive as fuck. There are all types of modalities that supposedly enhance recovery and so on but sometimes the data says they are actually detrimental, like with different "cooling" treatments, ice baths etc. Of course a few studies saying something doesn't work doesn't mean that that's the final word on it... I've read some teams have installed massive cold baths and other devices in their facilities. Maybe the "recovery feel" of an ice bath makes it therapeutic enough.

Most are scams.

Doug is a good dude

but christ on a cracker - the amount of dudes who try to over complicate fitness, recovery, training, body part development, diet, meal prep

I see dudes sitting in cold water - just take a shot of test ? or workout and just focus on the movements rather than trying to invent some new exercise that "looks cool"

the human body hasn't changed in 50years why not just stick to what works - or just try to improve upon that little by little

but like most of the strength coaches I get around - they avoid machines - hold up in some private fart box gym in their own little worlds - invent some advanced nuanced movement that looks intricate to perform , and they post they shit and talk with their hands - like and follow

Taffin is too embarrassed to ask, but can this be worn around the neck for erotic asphyxiation purposes?

Cold water is used for inflammation.  Best recovery is a good nights sleep.

It certainly seems like an upgrade from my current kit for closet-based fun when I've got the place to myself - upgraded Omron BP pump running off a 12V car battery with an oversized bariatric 60cm cuff off of Aliexpress around my neck

It's a cheap set up, and has the advantage of only strangling me right to the point of unconsciousness - aka the max pop off point - before the auto release kicks in (along with the shame*) and I wake up and hurriedly mop the floor while still naked from the waist down

*which never lasts too long, I had my shame gland surgically excised many years ago
