He wasn't Denzel in Training Day when he won his Oscar.
He is ALWAYS the same.
The only thing that changes is his character’s name and that character’s “deal”.
Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy him or his movies. Far from it.
But let’s be real.
It is ACTING. When people say so-and-so is a “great actor”, what they mean is,
I like him/her (looks, mannerisms, etc.) and I like the movies in which I have seen him/her. In movie-making, generally-speaking, the least talented people involved are the actors.
