Let's hope a little rain is all you get and the L.A. River does not flood or the Sepulveda basin fill up. Lot's of folks are getting their workout this morning filling sand bags all over So. Cal. Who knew Palm Springs could flood... you would think the soil would soak up water like a dried sponge, except that it is so dry water cannot penetrate it fast enough.

It is supposed to be hot and sunny today in the Pacific Northwest. I happy to wait until fall for rain because once it starts it doesn't stop for months on end, even though my water bill last month was $250.

 No one is filling sand bags today. It was happening all day yesterday.
