O'Hearn was the California Heavy weight Judo champ. For those that don't know it's a grappling art with no striking.
Don't know if this is true, or an O'hearn embellishment. Years ago, people asked around the California Judo scene, and no one knew him. They also said that being "California Judo Champion" doesn't mean much, because there were and are so many federations putting on contests every week, especially back then.

O'hearn is like Hankins, he gives you some truth, some embellishment. For instance, he did say he was a strongman champion at one point, and it's true he did win, but it was a smaller west coast show, with not many people there.
