brian when will the singlet make its next appearance you big queen

Well my son has started wrestling practices now. There is a wrestling tournament they have every year near here that has every age group from pre K up to Open Adult which has a lot of college wrestlers in it as well as older coaches. I would like to maybe enter that wrestling tourney with my son next year. Additionally, I plan to compete in a full power meet sometime in 2024 and you are required to wear a singlet in a powerlifting meet. So it may get used twice a year.

No I have previously stated the organization I plan to compete in a full meet also does strict curling. Additionally I plan to do a BB show next summer. I have not competed in MMA in 15 years and have no intention of doing so again but plans change never say never

Move the bench where exactly? My entire gym is in a 10X10 or maybe 12x12 foot room. I am falling over shit as it is there is no room to put a 7 foot bar on the floor. Also again I have been told by multiple sources that the trap bar puts less stress on the lower back and more on the quads. It is also just the more natural way to grip and lift something. It's not like I won't still do some conventional deadlifts and back squats but yeah plan is to focus on trap and front. I mention I am planning to do 2 exercises and I get pages of hate telling me I can't do those exercises are you kidding me? I can do any exercise I want
Ever use a trap bar fuckface?

It forces force you to take a wide grip...........just me but I don`t like it.

When you enter a meet you can`t use a trap bar anyway..........not that you`d be dumb enough to enter a REAL power meet, especially since you now compete at 242 pounds. LOL  ;D

Do whatever you want, you`re a fucking bad joke anyway.

Is it a wide grip for everyone or are you just too petite and narrow to use it?

You guys act like it is the end of the world if I get a trap bar and don't like it. SC actually thinks it is a great idea. Buying a trap bar doesn't mean I am not allowed to use an Olympic bar as well it just gives me another option.

Also I saw a well known bodybuilder mention his preference for front squats due to a herniated disc so i figured I will give them a shot I used to do them all the time 20 years ago it's not like I have never done a front squat but yeah I need to order and set up an outdoor squat station first anyway.

It has been 20 plus years since I deadlifted I was probably in college last time I did it. I know I deadlifted 365 for reps I don't know if I deadlifted 405 or not because again it was 20 some years ago. I also never maxed out. However I know my strength and I have seen people I know I am stronger than deadlift so yeah I have a pretty decent idea of what I can lift. Do you want me to just make up a number because I honestly don't know but yes I do recall having 3 plates and a quarter on the bar at one time for reps. I am not sure if I went heavier or not as again almost 25 years ago. Really no idea why you people think I can't deadlift.

You were deadlifting with those knees? When were you using the cane?

If you know how great front squats are why haven’t you done them in 25 years?

Because I wasn't bodybuilding and I was just trying to stay in shape. I used a cane most of 2019 due to a new 2cm meniscus tear from hack squats on top of my already surgically repaired knees. I never really got into deadlifting I tried it a couple times on a whim when others were deadlifting as I wasn't trying to be a fat powerlifter. However my back has always been strong on rows and since it is a lift for a full meet I will do some as again I would like to try a full meet next year. Lots of people significantly weaker than me have done powerlifting meets not sure why the board thinks I can't give it a try.

But yeah I do have injuries and I plan to train around them. I don't believe you have to just train heavy singles and break your back to get stronger at singles for a meet. I do feel I can safely train higher reps for most of the year then train lower reps just a few weeks prior to the event. I don't need to destroy my knees and back doing heavy singles all year.

if space is limited why not train at the outer banks gym?

Why, because you got  kicked out of the public gym.. as usual you deny it. Get exposed and pivot/ignore.

I have never been kicked out of a gym I will gladly film an instructional training video at the obx gym if it makes you happy. I just like training at home

it's embarrassingly Weak after 25+ yrs of PED's
Your 45 not 75 those lifts are Pitiful.

Brian, i hate to burst  your bubble.

you will not be able to front squat 315 without breaking in half.

275 has folded you like a cheap lawn chair.

I would just admit defeat and not bother with the 315 front squat.

Some people, regardless of their drug stack are not meant for squatting re: Dorian or in your case bodybuilding

I already stated my goals are 350,400,500 I think those are reasonable I honestly thing the bench will be the hardest of the 3. My only competition is with myself just trying to make my lifts and hit my numbers. It doesn’t matter to me if I do it in the 198,220, or 242lb class. The point of the meet is just training motivation and fun not expecting to be a world champion powerlifter. Also I am 45 years old I will be 46 at the time if I hit my marks that would be great. What others do is not my issue.

do you think him wrestling is the best use of his time? He can't hold a pencil properly and is already in therapy.

do you think his brain rattling around is smart for his already slow development?

Are you aware that the trap bar you intend to buy is 88.5" in length, which is a bit longer than a standard barbell?
