True detective season 1 and 3 were great. I tried season 2 and quit by the second episode.

You`re kidding me?

I love when they try to make re-makes of established classics......not that "Payback" is a classic by any means, but there are some (most) movies you just cannot re-make.

They usually (mostly always) pale by comparison, or just flat out suck.


NEW IDEAS HOLLYWOOD....COME ON YOU CAN DO IT.  :(

Was that the season with Rachael McAdams?  I watched that season especially for her :)

Colin Farrell was actually good in season 2.  I didn't even know the show had a third and fourth seasons.

Awesome flick!!

Oldman killed that part,as did James Gandolfini, not to mention Walken and Hopper in their classic "eggplant" scene,  LOL  ;D

Oldman was also great in "Bram Stokers Dracula" and the very under-rated flick "State of Grace".

The story is decent, but more than anything i enjoyed the "pace" of the movie and Vince Vaughn.

Not the typical jail movie bull. Worth the watch.
