Rory was also not a fan of the super natural aspect.

On the other hand, how many times can a person come back from the dead without being human? Most horror movies that have multiple parts have a super natural element to them.

With that said, I enjoyed both 1 and 2 and look forward to 3!

I look forward to 3 as well, and hope Josh and Bhanks make a cameo appearance in it in the Kitty Hawk-region!

After more than 25 years still some of the best combat scenes ever made; that movie was decades ahead of its time

^^^ Yes, showed the realities of war most movies have never touched. Hacksaw Ridge was another great one.

The Flock, thriller with Richard Gere and cutie Claire Danes:

One of those movies with an unexpected ending.

Flashpoint (1984), a neat little desert noir about two disgruntle Border Patrol agents that think they've found the answer to all their troubles when they find a dead man and a box of cash in the desert, only to have their plan collapse around them -

.

Full movie -

.

Stars Kris Kristofferson and Treat Williams. It's a good film that ends just a bit too quickly. 7/10.

Did I already mention "Southern Comfort"?

Great allegory film.

I also enjoyed "Race With The Devil."  Man, that is one creepy movie.  The premise was beyond far-fetched -- the protagonists, travelling through Texas in their RV, stumble upon what must amount to tens or even hundreds of thousands of Satanic cultists spread across hundreds of miles -- but sometimes, you gotta just sit back and suspend disbelief (more than usual!) to behold the spectacle, and sometimes, sheer hilarity of the subject.  Think:  "Commando" or "Red Dawn."  Both movies are totally ridiculous, but they are fun :)

The trailer for the movie "Smile" that funk posted looks fucking eerie, but I`m not joining Paramount + and paying for it.......I`ve had a ton of channels all at once, and most of them fizzled out for me after a time.

What was it, the allegory? Was expecting a better vendetta from the soldiers.

Those Black-sploitation movies are wild.  How times have changed.

Fred The Hammer with his unlimited ammo cutoff shotgun.  :D

All NFL Black 6.  :D

I think Gene LeBell shows up around 1:07 in Black Samson.  Bill Smith also playing his usual bad guy.
