Pryor was very good until the drug use took over. I honestly never paid much attention before the fights with Arguello because I didn’t think Pryor could win. He had a bit of an awkward style but his defense worked for him.

During his prime I was too young to really appreciate Joe Frazier. Looking back and watching old videos I realize I never gave him enough credit.

Hey Walt,I watched Foreman vs. Frazier I + II yesterday,then Alexis Arguello vs. Aaron Pryor I + II.............they don`t make em like that anymore.

Watch Foreman vs Lyle. Then watch the most intense of all. Hearns vs Hagler. Every punch thrown was meant to knock the other guy out. Zero running. No one was trying to win on points. So many from Duran are amazing too.

Braxton was the guy who came out of prison and converted to Islam? He had some good fights with LHWs and Cruisers if I recall correctly. He was kinda short and fought like Frazier, right? His peak was a bit before my time. There were a lot of good fighters out of NJ back in those days.

I wish I could remember the name of the guy he fought in prison for a chance at the title? I’ve never seen that fight video before but I should go online and look for it.
