They're saying he died Aug 31 into Sept 1. Could be possible. Come home from feeling up some big muscles, stroke out after stroking out.

He was kinda old at 62.

I met him once in Tait's Health food store on Dale Street. There was a black dwarf bodybuilder called Gilbert who worked in there and i used to save up for my cybergenics infinty 1700 and twinlab mct oil- a bit of frac, some dibencozide, a bit of orchic, possibly some smialx and beta-sitersterol. Mumie? Clorophyll? 1000 liver tabs....

anyway aki approachd me and asked where I trained i told him and he said nice one and just left the shop. i thought nothing of it until someone told me who he was.

A few years back I was speaking to a barrister who defended him and he said he was a truly evil manipulative dangerous man who shouldnt be out in public.

when I last competed with EFBB in 96 I heard he bottled someone outside Parr Hall in Warrington and ran off.

I first met him around 89, used to see him around Wigan quite a bit
