  good find I saw the farbotnik stuff in an old video years back. ed jubinville used to put on an act on the east coast of muscle control.

I saw Jubinvilles muscle control act many many times.

He could make the back of his neck(upper trapezius) move back and forth at will.........could also do a vaccum that made his waist look wasplike and then he would put his index finger in his mouth as if he was blowing up a balloon and his waist got huge......could move any muscle at will.

I also saw him lie on a bed of nails and have a guy smash a cinderblock on his abdomen with a sledge hammer.

All of his contests were free to the public,no entry fees,he got guys like Arnold,Katz,Franco and other to pose and judge,I met them all............he paid for all the trophies out of his own pocket.

I saw Dave Mass there along with both Mentzer brothers,Skip Robinson,Marty Joyce,Gene Massey,Elliot Gilchrist,Leon Brown,Johnny Maldonado,William Mitchell,Franklyn Green,Joe Ugolik,Len Archambailut,Charles Thomas,Warren Fredericks,Ronnie Magnum,Don Modzelewski,and a young goofy fuck named Louie Ferrigno....and many more great bodybuilders of that time period.

Ed was a great guy and a legend in the Iron Game that the goofs of today will probably never know about.....if you bought a piece of equipment from him in the 70`s, 99 times out of 100 it will still be intact and working today.

Great memories for me competing in many of his odd lift contests.

Me and the captain of the YMCA powerlifting team,John Pezzote kind of a mentor of mine.....who trained with 800 pound squatter Carl Snitkin, went to see Juby and upgraded a lot of equipment.....gave us a great deal.....I wish I knew where that stuff was today.......probably melted down or in someones cellar being abused with no problem.

I had these two logos on a sweatshirt I bought from Ed (not the elephant LOL ).....got in a drunken brawl in Florida,got my ass kicked and lost the shirt.....I was pissed.

Ed passed away training at Henry Jays Health club.....aka Henry Archambault doing what he loved best.....TRAINING.

I actually got a chance to do a contest with Leon Brown later in life, as well as a couple  with Elliot Gilchrist, and a well known bodybuilder for his time Claude Rigon.

It was an honor to be in the same contests as some of my early inspirations.
