Yes. Training close to bed time is a bad idea. Specially legs.
your body secretes chemicals that are bad for sleeping. a complicated thing which i can´t explain as i am not a Doctor.

i would guess adrenaline is the negative one

I have  had lots of trouble falling asleep (even as a kid) ... I'd stare out my window and Would feel comforted if someone else was up/ bedroom light was on) as an adult it got worse (anxiety / worrying about things like finances etc) then full panic mode as the sun came up and I have to go to work / haven't slept yet ...  ..  I take a handful of sleep meds every night (6 melatonin/6 Benadryl / Seroquel/ Gabapentin and 6 of these Costco blue sleeping pills) it really sucks!

That seems just a bit excessive.

What meds do you take for the anxiety?

Sertraline?
Duloxetine?
Nothing, though I still have Ambien, but never take it.

I have Diazapam but use it sparingly......I guess I`m just used to lack of sleep.

Lately,I have been catching a catnap during some boring movie for an hour or so,that helps out a bit.

I stopped all anti-depressants also.......fuck them, all I regularly take is a statin which I want to stop but my doc advised me not to.

For real?  1/2 knocks me out.
Yeah, they are generic but the real deal doesn`t do anything for me either.

I`m certainly not bragging by any stretch of the imagination, but in my drug using days I  had a high tolerance for pills.   ???

I have extreme anxiety issues,my mind never stops racing and I never feel comfortable.

It`s been a bit better as of late though....no clue as to why,but I`ll take it.

Have you tried a no-thc CBD tincture?

My sleep is good with the mask I wear.
If my sleep pattern gets disrupted I will take some gaba in the middle of the night.

I had insomnia in college because my life was like that of a frat guy at that time.

I’d get more stressed as a young guy because I was a dumbass kid.

I was a breach birth baby and my mother used to tell me I came out feet first and haven`t stopped running since.

She always asked me why I was up and out so early, and would ask...."Do you think you`re gonna` miss something" ?

Mike, that's a serious mix. You need to taper off a lot of that. Those Kirkland sleeping pills (doxylamine) are a strong anticholinergic and sedating antihistamine—as is diphenhydramine. You're really risking CNS depression taking both of them together at a high dose, combined with the other drugs you're on. There's some research documenting a possible link between those first-generation antihistamines and dementia in people who take them long-term, too.

If you're only taking the antipsychotic for insomnia alone, you should fuck that off, along with one of the antihistamines. You're dependent on them right now, so it will feel impossible to sleep without them for a while, but I'd imagine a doctor would be able to give you a good, single alternative, and possibly some cognitive behavioral therapy to deal with the anxiety.

Gummies may have had THC....CBD alone doesn't cause paranoia.

If I didn't have to get up for work I would try tapering down / eliminating some of the pills (Seroquel is just for sleep)  but I can't afford to be up all night and try to go work a 10-12 hour shift .... I have been taking this combination for years now .... and no the Tren isn't helping matters!

Mirtazapin has been all the rage for a few years now. It's an antidepressant originally. It can work very well but the negative is next day tiredness and often crazy appetite (which could be a positive side for some). The positives are that it's not dangerous or habituating. I would recommend just 7.5mg to start, half a tablet of the weakest strength (at least here). In comparison I have 45mg tablets for depression.

Dianabol and Anadrol can help sleep too, believe it or not. Dianabol might be downright euphoric as you lay down to sleep.

Yeah, they  did have THC in them.

Ok fool, try the CBD route.

All I know is I had a buddy who slept 2-3 hours a night try it at my suggestion.

Saw him a few months later and he said it changed his life literally.

That's insane Mike.

Do you take a bunch of pre-workout supplements?

25mg of diphenhydramine will knock me out for 8+ hours and give me a hangover.

I've learned to meditate and do breathing exercises before bed.

I also don't drink any caffeine after 3pm.

Worst case scenario, typically when i'm traveling for work and staying in a new bed, i take 0.5mg of Alprazolam, which knocks me out and has cleared my system by the morning, so no hangover.

Also, 4-6g's of red vein kratom will knock you out no problem.

Kratom for sleep is amazing.
