I think k I watched almost every episode. I loved how just about every single "lead" they had turned out to be helpful or it led to the next obvious lead and so on until they captured the bad guy.

The funniest one was when Joe Friday went to college and a bunch of hippies were in his classroom.  Friday looked over at one of the hippies and saw a bunch of doobies rolled up and inside the kids folder/binder. Friday arrested him after class and the students got pissed off and the professor kicked Friday out of class. I think that's the same episode where Friday and Gannon lecture the students at the end about societal woes in a monologue that is shockingly relevant today.

And the Dragnet movies were even better.  Not the shitty 1985 movie with Aykroyd and Hanks but the movies made in the 40's and 50's with Jack Webb that spawned the TV shows. The movies were a bit more hard-boiled. Grittier/film noir while the TV series was,  by comparison,  light hearted and family friendly.

Hahaha oh boy my face is red! I was talking about the shitty movie! Im too young for the show but grew up on the shitty movie. I’m so embarrassed! It’s probably the same way I’d feel if I ever decided to watch the new Point Break movie (which I’ll never do)

This makes Bohemian Grove look like a family picnic

Oh man, it's every bit as bad as I remember it.  The 80's were wild times in film. Especially awful after the 70's that produced Taxi driver, Godfather,  the Deer hunter, apocalypse now etc..

The only thing worse than that pagan scene was the scene in Cobra, when all the cult members rally in a warehouse and do some sort of ritual of clanging axe's together. And the cult members were lawyers,  doctors, judges, construction workers who all showed up to the rally in their work attire! LOL!!!

Exactly. He was a police officer and he told the world that he was drug-free because of his job.

The photos of him in college, playing linebacker, was probably pretty close to his natural limit.  I still hear “Ronnie turned pro as a natural” even from some people who compete and use gear
