I'm 36 but I like my history.
Before cars, cities were built to be beautiful, just go anywhere in Europe/Boston and it is nice.
Trains and rail cars were sweet as well.
Up until tv came about, radio was basically like modern day podcasts, real cool shit go on youtube if you're curious.
Until the 90s, flight attendants use to be hot
Until 73 or so cool shit was happening in space
Between 65 and 83ish, guitar based music dominated society.
Jazz before 65 was a total beast, it was amazing.
Until the late 90s you had a ton of tv, and it was scheduled. No randomly binging shows, you had a set schedule and everyone else was on it. Everyone was watching xfiles at 7pm on a thursday etc. You could have an actual watercooler conservation, without having to figure out if you're even on the same episode. Like your entertainment was based on an actual schedule, instead of everyone randomly doing their own thing, dates and time of day really mattered, people had normal work hours, and you didn't talk to people outside of your timezone.
Renting VHS was awesome for more or less the same reason, you had to go out with friends date/wife/friends/kids pick what you were gonna watch. It was a part of movie night, now movie night means you try to find something on a streaming service, instead of being social you watch it by yourself and half to time you give up half way through.
Until 97ish, popular movies weren't CGI borefests, almost all the top box office movies featured real stories, you couldn't just overwhelm the audience of 20 minutes of cgi.
From 06ish-14 we had the golden age of online streaming, shows like game breaking bad were actually good, you had good stories and there wasn't a ton of wokeshit. HBO/Showcase etc would reliably release 3-5 shows that were based, like Sopranos/Boardwalk Empire/Oz/The wire/The Shield etc.
For 1990 to 2008ish, we had tons of white immigrants from Eastern Europe coming over, they were cool hard working people who were well educated, since 08ish they've become old fucks, poorly educated folks who were completed ruined by independence, or alternatively have become as pro socialism/EU as their grandparents.
Until 95ish Christian/Family values were still normal, you assumed someone was christian or at least supported the values, instead of now where you hope people actually have any values at all.
Before the internet the world was a mysterious place. You couldn't just google something, you actually had to find a book on a topic and hope it actually included the depth of knowledge you were looking for. Atlernatively watch a really cool show on tv or actually visit the place.
Before 2006ish smart phones weren't a thing, people weren't socially retarded and were capable of small talk.
Before 1995ish, being intelligent self educating yourself by reading would pay off as you'd actually have real value in the workplace.
EDIT: Science fiction was way better. Things actually had to be thoughtful. From 77 to 91 there was just endless great epic sci fis being made including star wars/alien(s)/80s trek/terminator/predator
