Sounds good to me, most of the workers at fast food restaurants are useless.

Prices will go up, because they’ll have to justify the new tech rollout

Good. Most Americans are too fat and lazy to eat fast food. They should start cooking for themselves.

Yup they’re going to stop at fast food, it’s not going to any other industry. Automation always help the common man. That cost is never pushed on to every day working class folks

They’re going up because of the California wage increase.

This ^^

I don't like it, tried it once or twice. Massive sodium bloat, Sisco food products, etc.
We have 3 quality real Mex places near me we just use. Night/day...

LOL

We’ve heard this time and time again. The tech revolution was supposed to put everyone out of work yet we’re currently experiencing a tight job market.

What will put everyone out of work is socialism taking the dynamism out of the economy so that when old industries die off there are no new ones to replace them.

We don't want to be a nation of luddites. Telephone operators got phased out. Newspapers almost gone. Technology is inevitable.

This is a horrible development.  The video shows how they'll make them smaller than what you normally get, precise measuring of ingredients means there will be no human element adding a little more here and there.

Also, there is a well known trick that if you want to get more you order half and half on the protein (1/2 chicken, 1/2 steak) and you end up getting more because of how they slop it on (3/4 chicken, 3/4 steak for 1.5 times the protein). This will end that!

This is a good thing. Fast food workers can spit in your food and do all kinds of nasty stuff. The machines will be cleaner, if they are properly maintained.

I went to a McDonalds a few years ago. Black woman took my order. She rang me up and I paid. Then I see two young Dindu males in the back laughing and ready to prepare my food. She yelled at them to stop horsing around.

After a minute or two I told her to cancel the order I changed my mind. Please give me a refund. She said why? I said I changed my mind. Thanks. But I kind of looked the way of the Dindus and she must have figured out what the reason was. Anyway, she gave me a refund and I confirmed on my card that it was canceled. Never went back to that place again. I just knew they were going to fuck with my food.
