Makes me wonder...when I hear about these Pro digestion issues. Didn't Phil Heath have similar issues in 2009? I think Haney said stomach flu.

I believe the paramedics were called to Heath's hotel, and the report said "Stomach Flu" [i.e., no mention of diuretics on the official paperwork].

King Kamali claimed a stomach flu in 2004, at the Arnold, after he didn't show up the way he looked in his kitchen.

Speaking of Phil Heath, he and other pros are giving Brett a lot of support on Instagram. Brett has a pretty normal looking face - no huge GH features like most pros have:

Jokes aside I always figured the digestion issues were from years of overeating .. I’d imagine it’s taxing on the intestines to digest all that bodybuilding food

I believe Mike Francois said that. I can't remember what issue he specifically had, but it may have been something just short of colon cancer. I can't recall exactly, but I believe it is the reason he retired from pro bodybuilding.

Colitis

Ah! Yes.
I seem to recall that he attributed it partially to the massive eating requirements of pro bodybuilding. I don't know anything about Colitis, but I can't imagine some pro diets being good for the gut.

Complete speculation here: liver or kidneys crapped out. A lot of nutitional supplements for the liver list the same indication: digestive issues, as a liver or gall bladder tonic.

But many older bodybuilders have digestive issues, particularly severe reflux which is hard to live with. I have it too. Orals cause it in particular and now it's just a few weeks to go so it would have to be severe. At the end of a prep orals are peaked.

Some bodybuilders have gotten colitis. But it's hard to pin on steroids. My youg friend's got colitis and the doctors wouldn't blame it on steroids even when they got the whole story.

Our very own Jos Swift is a very good bodybuilder and you don’t hear him complaining of any of this craziness and he does what he hast to do to get in shape. Yes, he’s not a pro but pretty damn close to me.

Joe is a smart individual, he doesn't post anything that might be indicated a as very bad in case he was doxxed. He is also not very big so he doesn't need to do very high doses.

Weird nobody in the 70s had these digestive issues, high protein, high fat, steak and eggs...no bullshit greens powders, pre/intra/post workout supplements, protein powders..all loaded with artificial sweeteners (which are known to cause issues with gut microbiome) food dyes,  pounding tons of processed foods (cream of rice) which Brett eats loads of. Top it of with oral anabolics, antiestrogens.

With Brett out, the battle for 16th is reallly heating up.  This is the beginning of the end for him, unfortunately.

To back out of these contests they are contracted to do, is there a requirement like a doctor's excuse needed? I always think of Flex Wheeler and the ninjas that kidnapped him. Some of these health problems could just be a competitor realizing he will miss his peak come contest time and backing out to avoid embarrassment.

My name is out there, my address is pretty easy to find, even how much I paid for my house is readily available online
Its surprising just how much information which you would think was private is readily avaiable to anyone

Im boring to be honest, not much to know

I figured they are contracted in the sense of “compete if you want to get paid” .. I wouldn’t expect their contract to be guaranteed in any way really, what leverage does a B/C-tier bodybuilder have lol

I love these slobs think it’s necessary to get on IG live to issue a statement.

Like it’s a press conference and the “fans” want to know.

Then you have the cucks like Trigili who’s going to pump out prob 3-4 videos dissecting the reason of Brett withdrawing.
