Gay bars are drying up these days because the vast majority of places are pretty inclusive with restaurants and the number of "Drag Brunches" has exploded.  Scorpios in Charlotte is shutting its doors and its been open for almost like 30+ years at least.  But there's no gay bar without guys and girls that are hetero, you didn't assume anything.

She could have possibly also walked into a conservative gay bar like the Axis and that is what I'm suspecting.   Those are ones filled with LC Republicans and Trump Supporters and they don't put up with the pronoun shit and will toss you out if you get fresh.   Either way , she's a girl.  When I walk into a bar or club, if I don't like the vibe that's in there then I go somewhere else.

Lol.  of course not all gay clubs are the same....no different than any other bar.  Did you think that all of them were liberal    The Axis in Ohio is a conservative one and they make a ton of donations to the GOP although its a general gay club.   The Pulse where that horrible mass shooting took place was is a Latin gay club.   Seriously, I mean different bars cater to a different crowd of people.   

Honestly most conservative gay places are more like private social clubs by membership or invitation.  Usually have pool tables, Fox News on the TV , and of course the cigar lounge.   No drag shows of course.
