Bench pressing has long entered the realm of "arm wrestling". The fat guy is wearing a bench condom and the little lady is impersonating the St. Louis Arch. FTN.

While I agree with everything posted and I could not make my disdain more known for bench shirts. This is prob the best bench shirt video I’ve seen, actual decent range of motion and holding 1000 lbs for 11 reps is pretty crazy in itself. I’ve never tried a bench shirt but it also it’s seems like it’s hard for the weight to descend, is this so?

When I competed in powerlifting as a little guy we had Joe White,Don Rhinehoudt,Doug Young,Lamar Gant,Vince Anello,Jim Williams,Jerry Jones,Joe Spack,Mike Bridges,Don Blue,etc. etc.

A belt,knee wraps,chalk and maybe wrist wraps......that it`,and todays guys haven`t lifted much more in some cases less,and they have suits and the Monolift.......I don`t think anyone has equaled Anellos and Gants deadlift records to this day......don`t quote me on that but I think I`m correct.

Another great sport that has regressed bigtime.

Good point. He deserves props for doing this, IMO. I'm not sure how weight I could unpack and hold over me. Most likely, nothing close to 1,000.

It is almost impossible to make the deadlift easier. True test of brute strength.
