Stallone must be also questioning his long term viability. Burt Young was 83, whereas Stallone is 77. I know that when you see your contemporaries pass away and they're close enough in age, it can make you tense up a bit.

Unbelievable that he was in his mid 30s in the first Rocky. Looked closer to 60

Had a good episode of the Sopranos as  Bobby Balaca Sr, a dying button man -

Three of those guys have passed in real life -

Young, Gandolfini, Tarantina (Mustang Sally).

First I heard of this: RIP

In addition to Rocky, he was great in Back to School as “Lou.”

Was looking up some of the ages of the Rocky stars. Apollo Creed is 75.😢

Not in Rocky, but Joe Pesci is 80.😬

Yeah thought he was way older. Looked pretty much the same in the Sopranos.
