Many people with money have live in help: maid, cook/chef, butler, valet, personal assistant, etc.  And their houses often have live in quarters for the help. Nothing gay about that.  Now if that help is a bodybuilder then it becomes gay.  :-*

I can't feel sorry for him.  He was old enough to have common sense to know what doing drugs in the first place would lead to.  I hope he wasn't one of the idiots that thought "oh that can't happen to me", but it did.

People talk about the pressures of being trapped by fame and how it destroys "normal" lives.  Dude, fuck that.  Get the fuck out of Hollywood.  Come back to make content and keep the cheddar going but afterwards, you can literally find peace in many small towns.  If you stay in the limelight it's because you like the attention.  And in that case you can't expect people to feel sorry for you when wind up neck deep in shit you created yourself.

So Matthew was killed by his japanese assistant?

Without him he would still be alive?

 :D

Funnily enough, it seems his live-in assistant was injecting him with the shit, so you're not that far off  ;D

could he be any more dead?

I wish I'd written that  ;D

If you pass out due to drugs and so out of it you can't stand up in a hot tub there is a very good odds he would have died from his respiration being shut down on dry land.

It happens but unlikely. If the heart stops, you're fucked, respirations can become shallow but this happens all the time. They can be resuscitated.

In Portland people carry Narcan like like they cary cellphones or car keys. Every single day, in fact dozens of times a day, Portland police officers administer narcan to people overdosed in the street.

Even before narcan was available i had a close friend overdose and slup into a coma. He was rushed to the e.r. and stabilized, spent a month in a coma but came out of it.... overdosed again 12 years later but this time wasn't so lucky.

It may be new to you, but none of this is new.  The music industry is well known for it; Wall Street is known for it; Native America Tribes with casino proceeds are known for it; high end sports are known for it.  Follow the money… and you will find the drugs and their dealers.

I saw many HRT clinics offer Ketamine now, but from what I read, maybe from a link in this thread, that the legality is pretty ambiguous. I asked a friend just now what he thought of ketamine as he's done it maybe 10 times recreationally and he said he didn't like it, said it made you feel totally out of it, you didn't know where you were or who you are  ;D Anyone here use it? I'm forever looking for things to alleviate this fucking anxiety. I probably should do what BigRo does and try some psychedelics but I'm a big pussy  :-\
This friend I asked said he had some LSD for me if I wanted it but said it gave him anxiety he didn't think was possible, but then it turns to bliss. But when the anxiety hit he once almost jumped off a cliff to alleviate it  :o

Used it once, me and a mate took a tab each after a night out, we were all back at my house, around 20 people, I was lying on the floor as all the furniture was taken and I looked at a gy sat across from me and he had a tiny body and a huge fucking head (The Queen in Alice In Wonderland style)

Oddest experience I had on drugs, we both ended up in the garage discussing the pros and cons of having a car sized garage...

Perry was a doink.

Glad he’s dead.

I watched that video in which he’s arguing his “disease” with Hitchens. Talking about the disease being an allergy that results in him being absolutely unable to stop imbibing or using.

Absolute rubbish.

Weak and pathetic.

Idk about ketamine. Lsd is similar to psilocybin mushrooms, but the lsd is much longer lasting which can be fatiguing.

I doubt anyone can say if it'll help or hurt with your anxiety. People react differently. Pretty much everyone I took it with were social and extroverted, but I gravitated to solitude and introspection, which is in line with my nature. I definitely wouldn't enjoy psychedelics in a loud, crowded setting like a night club, which is a setting I dont dig anyway.

Don't take it on a lark imo. It's heavy duty meaning of life type stuff for like 12 hours.

I'd try a bunch of approaches to resolve anxiety before considerig psychedelics as a therapeutic, including avoiding your anxiogenics. I can't go anywhere near marijuana, even though it was fine when I was younger. It gives me horrible borderline panic.

I don’t care one way or another, although I realize his “disease” is just his own weakness. But, I’m not glad he’s dead. On the other hand, I really can’t stand Schwimmer.

x100.  It is a cop out for being weak and I’m sick of it! When I think of “disease” I think of a serious medical condition that compromises biological function like cancer, polio, and/or something you can catch or transmit like covid, HIV, or gonorrhea. Alcoholics love the disease label too because it makes them not responsible.  If I decide to buy and swig liquor several times a week or in excess that does not meet my definition of disease.  Likewise if I harass a doctor or hook up with a dealer to supply my drug habit that’s called bad a choice.  Behavioral addiction is NOT disease.  It is behavior…

I think I could become addicted to gambling… so I do not do it. A simple choice.  Problem solved.

Obesity diagnosis codes are kind of the same thing, although there are some glandular conditions but those are not the common thread. “I can drink jumbo Coca Colas all the time because the doctor put through a code on me.”

Likewise ramming your unprotected penis up an inebriated pool-boy's anus and catching teh Gay Rabies, old bean. The behaviour leads to the biological abnormality.

I suggest you not do that.  Or do.  But don’t call your behavioral choices a disease.

Fukin A. Note the shift in language. People are now said to "have obesity."

There's no money in telling people to eat less and move more. Is Ozempic Medicare funded yet? ::)

Thanks. There was a new study of a "stable" LSD where it helped anxiety overall but it was in a controlled setting.

But at the same time it's not just about money. Telling people to do hard stuff never, ever works. Like I've said before, there's two solutions to obesity, either the government restricts food availability or people are given drugs that restrict appetite like ozempic and only the drug is workable. A doctor can't prescribe "willpower," the docs can't even restrict their own appetites. Although there is somewhat of a link between obesity and low IQ I think, so docs probably tend to be somewhat thinner and live longer (I suspect). So it's like why even mention diet/exercise, although many still do. They may recommend someone enroll in "sleep hygiene classes" before getting sleeping pills too.

Okay, Fortress can feel his blood heating. Boy-oh-boy.

I would clock hundreds of kilometres onto my Jeep moving it forwards and back, in 4x4 mode, in the “crawl” setting, over his ridiculous face.

Chunks of it eventually stuck in the knobbies of my mudder tires.

His face, and merely hearing the opening melody of the Friends theme song, creates fury deep in my soul.
