cramps on gear?
« on: November 05, 2023, 08:48:17 AM »
This is getting silly.
Am doing Test, Primo and Mast (prop) and have done some low dose anadrol on off.

have used gear before - but I am getting ridiculous cramps, pseudostrains and strains doing "nothing". Triceps mini-strain today during easy wide grip pull ups, calf cramping in my sleep, glute major cramp getting up from floor.

Long story short: Getting tons of cramps bordering on strains - if not actually strains.

Could it be the Masteron? If it is anti-estrogenic and causes hardening and is diuretic?

(figure I will increase fluids and electros even more, and maybe ditch the mast).

Anyone familiar with cramp issues from Mast, Primo?

Primobolan has anti estrogenic properties too. Maybe the combo of primo and masteron?

Funny you mention that, just spoke to my guy who said the same thing...and he's pretty smart about all this stuff.

So what is a reasonable way going forward? Due to testing and long ester I can't currently do equi, and won't touch deca or tren.

I am figuring:
437mg test C per week
200mg/300 (?) primo E, and no mast
25mg anadrol per day

Would rather not increase test C beyond 437mg to 500 as that tends to stimulate gyno area.
But primo...if wanting to avoid this strain crap yet getting good results...300mg primo E per week to much?

Ditching the mast...so how much primo?

tHx for replying!!

I've just finished a 13 week run of test e 300mg and 300mg primo a week. Decent enough results. 300mg I reckon is a reasonably conservative amount especially when you hear people blasting a gram a week! I was on a slight calorie deficit and it definitely helped with body recomp. I've never really bothered with orals

is it widely held that mast is more anti-estro than primo? I had only heard about it in relations to mast.

Joswift: Am increasing sodium intake big time. ordering electrlytes now also.

I reckon masteron is regarded as more anti estrogenic than primobolan. I think joswifts "SALT" suggestion should help with cramps too. Short but concise advice!

Androgens like masteron increase resting muscle tone and promote the ability of a muscle to contract, thats how you get the hardened appearance and strength gains.  If you’re already prone to cramping, the masteron might be tipping you over the edge

Look for low-sodium table salt, it’s a blend of potassium chloride and sodium chloride, aka “electrolytes”.  Try baths with epsom salts for the magnesium, especially before a workout.

I’d suggest oral anabolics but those are even more cramp inducing than injectable stuff.  If you can’t do eq, tren, deca you don’t have a whole lot of other options.  Maybe gh if you can get it

It's obvious.  Stop taking the drugs is the way forward.

Yup, Primo / Mast, can be  brutal (true) on "joint drying"... Drink lots of fluids w/ salt/potassium/electrolytes...

Or just stick w/ Test.. Test is best...

Will ditch the mast for sure and primo for now also, and try to rethink a new approach

have not had issues before BUT was not this specific combo and these doses, so....

With mast prop and primo E at ~300mg I figure their possible detrimental effects with cramping etc should be clear in what...1-2 weeks?

Are you getting random muscle "twitching" throughout the day?

Cramping is either flat out dehydration or loss of electrolytes.

How old are you? And why are you running mast? Serious questions

thanks

Was using it bc I don't want to touch tren, test only really seems to bloat me and is not that good for me, and eq is just such a long HL... I have no problems putting it on the shelf.

Could be I need to go from a lot of water to LOTS and LOTS of water too.

No, not twitching.

But have had a number of mini strains from what feels like overly tense muscles during training.

Like hamstring on easy bulgarians, triceps on wide grip pull ups, and so on. Submaximal loads. It has to be gear related. Could lift those weights for hours clean without problems. Like the muscle is getting "super tense", tightens up, and if I keep pushing it might cause more significant strain. IF that makes sense

If you get bloodwork done you'll know for sure if you have some electrolyte deficiency or dehydration. Otherwise you're just guessing.

It’s the gear, no amount of tinkering w electrolytes is gonna fix it.

This is part of the reason why pro athletes don’t load up with an all-you-can-eat hormona buffet, their muscles get too tight and can’t function effectively.

I get good results with just 250 test per week. I know many go into 300-500 territory but I find 250 to be enough to build at a steady rate. Most people I know are on 500 per week if they're using test.

I've got shitloads of masteron in storage: thinking of adding it on next spring when the weather begins to heat up, again, ready for summer. I've only been back at training the last 4 months.

I haven't used masteron in years, though, but I purposely bought shitloads because for my body I've always needed a lot for it to show well. I don't know how it was with you, besides the cramps. I've only ever had bad cramps on Winny. Like really bad but like ppl say - the fluids and electrolyte balancing is the route to take if you wanna remain on it.

ive heard that about winstrol as well.

Was one of the reasons charlie francis in fact did NOT favor it right?

I've done combo of moderate test, eq and a bit of primo and tbol before...NO cramps

Figure I might stop the cycle now after 8 weeks and regroup and go with a more familiar regimen. NO mast, and def not with primo also.
