Guy locks a woman up in the loft/attic space of his friend's garage. Friend finds her, then decides to sleep on it for a few hours before calling the cops. The guy charged is an odd duck, he doesn't rape, but every few years he gets caught kidnapping or trying to kidnap a woman.

Bonus - extra goofy cops in this one.

The cops are getting roasted in the comments. It's true that they handled that badly. Surely they should have access to blankets/raincoats. Asking them about going to the hospital and response was "probably".

Sounds about right - once every couple of years you bump into a keeper.
