For the few idiots on here ( a bb site)
It's funny how this needs to be said on here every now and then.

For the few idiots on here ( a bb site) wondering why bodybuilders continue the lifestyle. Its because they enjoy it. Thats it. Go to a free climbing site or sky diving site or caving or mountain climbing etc... tons of dangerous hobbies with numerous deaths every year out there... Go join those sites and tell them to stop their hobbies whenever somebody dies.
Mountain climbing involves training where you are taught to ignore the bodies you see while climbing because its just a fact that people die on those slopes.
This is a niche hobby. Those that enjoy it do it on their own dime on their own time.

But in this case, it was him who was dying.
Also, MUST bodybuilding always be All Drugs?
That may be a bit of a rhetorical question.
I think it's possible to train without gear, although I typically trained in the low rep range because I always felt gaining muscle mass was pretty futile for naturals. I felt our natural maximums as men was closer to the juiced max for strength potential, as opposed to building muscle tissue.
But even breaking down juiced bodybuilding...bulking PED's and cutting PED's have different risk profiles. Was competing and dehydrating himself down really necessary for him to benefit from bodybuilding?
If it made him happy, that's good. He just looks very young, and he seemed to have writing on the wall. But hey...it was his life. And to be fair, I don't even know to what extent bodybuilding made his condition worse. He obviously had bad luck. Maybe that's all there was to it.
