Even Black Panther 2 sucked. BP was already a woke entry in the mcu. A film that was made to cater to a black fan base. But BP was done fairly well. Wakanda Forever was idiotic. Stupid story. Every male character was made to be a buffoon and of course the heroes of the movie were all women. MCU lost it's magic. The humor used to be fresh and at times a little edgy is now stale and formulaic. The stories are nonsensical and the characters they're focusing on are not compelling at all.
The first BP was awful as well. They were not even true to the origin or actual BP narrative. BP derived his powers from a herb in Wakanda. He was basically a black version hero of Kraven the Hunter. Both share a plant based enhancement of increased strength, speed, agility, senses, etc.. Jungle based MMA style, etc... they are like the original Yin Yang symbol.
Instead of the original BP, we got some dude in a tech suit. Might as well be a ghetto Tony Stark that you couldn't trust with weapons or flying boots.
Same was with the last Spider Man. Gimmicky suit that was bullet proof, could fly ("glide") had multiple arms, etc... I guess they didn't bother to look at actual comic book sales over that story line arc and see how badly it crashed.
