I agree,socisal media and movies influence people in a big way.
If no one had social media they would know far less about the bullshit that bothers them,thus being far less stressed.
Another common movie theme is......."A retired hitman gets called on to repay a favor and come back for just one more hit" !!
....and then there`s the one you often cite that pisses me off as well where a 105 pound woman takes on drug cartels,ninjas, and bike gangs and comes out unscathed! D
If you live in America, in Canada a very different story. My neighborhood just a handful of years ago was "too white" for me, felt like a total outsider. In 7 years its been completely overrun. Islamic nonsense everywhere, can't order a pizza without smelling the delivery driver before he even knocks. Indian's in customer service will never ever say they're sorry. Literally so incompetent they'll fuck up my order and be like "no no you ordered this, it's ok" as if I'd fuck up my own order.
I can't explain how useless these indian immigrants are, or how creepy the Islamic shit is getting. Up until the last few years I've been done with multiculturalism. East Asians etc are cool. But it's just the sheer volume of these people that makes me go nuts.
Indians just lie constantly and refuse to adapt to basic ideas like showering, and the Islamic crap is just so much worst because I just know there's no way out.
Not to mention I can't pretend rents aren't skyrocketing etc.
Like in any ordinary time I'd do a small amount of research and just move to a place that was less "enriched" but there's no where.
Literally putting Winnipeg, Manitoba at the top of my relocation list because it's just too dam cold for foreigners.
