Before November 24, 2004 you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting some poon. Idk what happened.
Getbig was fun, and sometimes still is. But back then people cared more about bodybuilding, and I had help in various sections with people who actually did care. Never was the money, never really had advertising on the boards. Just a place to have fun. But many of us grew up, had kids, now have kids in college, other jobs, and other interests too. Would love to build up some areas here at Getbig. Articles, interviews, etc, but time is of the essence. Family health issues, friends with other interests, and overwhelming work related projects that are still there. As for guests, can't have them posting because too many issues with people impersonating someone else, and posting threats and porn, and just ruining things on purpose because they feel like it, and it makes them feel good by ruining other people and sites. I have met some really good people here over the years, and some moderators that do care, and stick with it, good or bad. Thank you all for making it fun.If someone wants to help, and build up some parts lacking, I am all for making it better. I have not updated parts of the site in a long while, putting kids thru college, family is important, work needs to pay bills. Keep in mind, with high traffic and still around 60,000 people a day, the invoices to run and maintain it for still there every month. I just go to less events as those cost a ton of money too. Not asking for money, but help maybe in getting some parts of the site updated to make it a more enjoyable visit.
Ronfather, I would gladly give a donation to getbig.com if possible, and I'm sure many other posters would too.
