You have to know enough to know if someone is ripping you off.

Whether it is your car repair shop, plumber, money guy, etc.  Don't matter.

Human nature is greed.

If you think some accountants and money managers won't rip you off you are naive.  Some are good, some are bad.  Know the difference.

The nature of the money management business is to separate you from a % of your money by moving it around.

I have read Kyosaki's books. He has some good ideas but has been proven to be a conman like most of these "how to get rich" gurus.

I meant that I don't get this whole need for knowing all the taxation/legal side of business/money. Plenty of people out there, like me, just worked a job/trade and sent their stuff over for an accountant, advisor and solicitor to handle. That's their expertise. I get that there's very hands-on type guys who are control freaks over their money/investments and need to know everything.

The guy in the video talks about being screwed over and it being a learning experience. He's a more Zen type figure than I am. But, I suppose that he wants the mega millions. Normies, like me, just want to have fun and do random crap with minimal risk. These guys have such a money hunger. It's fascinating but also boring, imo.

Crazy part is he worked his ass off in the business community to basically break even. Trump started off and ended off in more or less the same wealth category. It's why Trump is a quasi hero in my books. He risks it all went bankrupt multiple times and all in the name of America.

How much info is of actual use?

We probably retain 95% of useless drivel. Eg Many are now experts on Israel yet they don’t know how to change a car tyre or cook a chicken.
