When I met him he was a non-drinker.

I went to high school with Joe in the suburban Philly area. Joe was always a good guy , never a loudmouth or musclehead tough guy. He went out of his way to treat people well and had a great build even in Jr.high. in the early to mid seventies there were very few people with complete physiques, and Joe had an insane build even in the Ninth grade

Joe is a Facebook "friend" though I only go to FB occasionally to wish people a Happy Birthday,or check out pics of my boy GAZOO !!

Why can't modern bodybuilders develop a biceps peak? Is it the the shoulders and forearms are so bulked up that it buries the biceps? Or is it the GH and insulin that kind of flattens the muscle out?

I read an article he wrote about Weider telling him if he got his act together and got in shape he would put him on the cover of Muscle and Fitness, he did.

The story went along the lines of him drinking heavily while still taking anabolics, he started throwing up blood at a bar and had to go to hospital
Made him turn his life around

Loved Bucci's training routine printed in the mags. Chest, back, shoulders, legs each 1 day a week. Arms everyday.
