Watched The Fall of Minneapolis.  Powerful.  We really got played.  I knew Floyd likely died of a fentanyl overdose, but I learned some new things.  One of the most alarming things is two officers testified that the maximum restraint technique used by Derek Chauvin was not an approved technique, but the judge refused to allow a Power Point training slide showing the Minneapolis Police Department training its officers on how to use that same technique, with a picture of a guy with his knee in the same position of Chauvin. 

Worth a watch.

The goddamn motherfucking chief of police testified that he'd never heard of maximum restraint technique.  Bodycam footage of one of the officers performing CPR on Floyd was excluded from the trial.  I was ignorant of the fact that it took 20 minutes for EMT to arrive, and that the police called for an EMT about 30 seconds after Floyd got his request to be put on the ground.

Based on the previous post, it would seem that it was the police chief who lied, and their defense attorneys did not challenge it. The media simply reported it.
