I agree vastly overrated. Excellent physique , one of the best ever? Not even top 20. Very good at marketing himself as something more than what he was which was a good bodybuilder. 2 pro wins in 12 years of trying

Shawn Ray walked the walk with 14 Top 5 Olympia contests! Then afterwards, he is staying relevant by going to contests, having his own events, on various talk podcasts, and sponsored by various companies.  On top of that, three awesome kids, and a most excellent wife! Kudos to him!  Like him or not, he tells what he wants to say, which is cool.

Obviously he’s been controversial during his time on the scene, you either hated him or liked him, no in between, but overall he’s kept his head on right. I think it had a lot to do with John Brown and his tutelage.

Most of the bbing imbeciles and losers bash him like that Muslim aceto is because he says the things that most wouldn’t say, he calls out the drug usage most lie or stay silent about.

One of the best ever. He also actually trained really hard. Check out To The Extreme video. It was basic hard training. No he isn't the strongest bodybuilder out there but you can't watch that tape and say he dogged a workout. I see videos of these current bloat muscle "super stars" and they train very lazily on mainly machines.
