He's basically a full-blown invalid at this point (b4 the age of 60). My grandmother is close to 100 and moves like a teenager compared to him.

Yup, my uncle is 83, in gym everyday, still does construction on his kids houses, etc... (Looks 63).
This poor guy is a sad case...

He quickly went from He-man to Ram-Man after all those procedures ( 13 surgeries in total.)

His spine is now one solid bone stick with absolutely zero mobility. All segments are entirely fused and held together by 14 screws, 2 cages and 2 rods.

All that hardware is pinching on his nerves and causing all the back pain + numbness in his legs.

He was supposed to have them removed at some point,  which may or may not alleviate some of his suffering.

Maybe one day.
